Installation Tips
Due to the pre-curved design, our helmet kits are designed for a specific layout, however it is YOUR helmet, so feel free to place decals wherever you want! Included are multiple generic decals to fill space or invent your own style.
• Plan your design out before fully adhering the decals. The decals are removable and can be repositioned, but the adhesive will weaken every time you peel it back off.
• Make sure the helmet shell is thoroughly cleaned before installing. Use rubbing alcohol or another cleaner that will not leave residue. Any wax products will cause the vinyl to not stick.
• Using a heat gun or hair dryer will help soften the vinyl, allowing it to stretch and conform to the shell better.
• Start from the center of each decal, and adhere outwards, pressing air bubbles and ‘fingers’ in the vinyl out as you go while applying heat.
Please note, kits are made-to-order so allow 2-3 working days for production.
